Don’t snack. I’ve worked at restaurants for years, and I know it’s hard. But not snacking is the most important thing.  Make sure when you’re doing the elliptical or some other cardio machine, don’t have it on high resistance, use low resistance and just go for longer.  It tones legs without gaining too much muscle.  Also make sure you do squats and other leg workouts.
